<div>Andre Leon Debose, a beloved 38-year-old single father from Fort Lauderdale, Florida of five children (two girls and three boys ages 1y/o, 3 y/o, 13 y/o, 16 y/o and 17 y/o), tragically passed away in a boating accident on Saturday, August 10th, 2024. He selflessly jumped into the water to rescue his 17-year-old son and a 19-year-old woman who were struggling in the rough conditions.

<div>Andre, a Plumber in Layton, and his  son were out on the water when the weather suddenly turned bad. Andre's son saw his friend having a hard time swimming and immediately went to her aid. Though the young woman was able to make it back to the boat, Andre's son then found himself in distress. Without hesitation, Andre jumped in to save his beloved child.

<div>Tragically, Andre and his son were only able to hold onto a single life jacket between them. As his son made it back to safety, Andre disappeared beneath the waves and did not resurface. This devastating loss has left Andre's five children facing an unimaginable future without their devoted father.

<div>In this time of immense grief, the family is understandably in need of support. They are now accepting donations for a protected trust fund to provide for Andre's children and ensure their future is secure. Any contributions, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated as they navigate this heartbreaking tragedy.
