 On Saturday night, August 8, our friend and colleague Andres Garcia experienced a loss that no husband or father should ever have to endure.

 In the tragic boating accident in New York Harbor near Liberty Island, Andres lost his beloved partner Sara Sanchez, 27 years old, and their precious 5-month-old daughter, Antonella Garcia.

 Andres was also on the boat that night.

 While trying to process the unimaginable loss of Sara and baby Antonella, Andres must now find the strength to move forward and be there for their 6-year-old son, Salvador, who has also suffered a heartbreaking loss.

 Those of us who know and work with Andres want to come together around him and their son during the most difficult time of their lives.

 We have created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden Andres will face in the weeks and months ahead. Donations will help with funeral and memorial expenses, time away from work, daily living expenses, caring for their son, and the many unexpected costs that come with a tragedy of this magnitude.
