I cannot express how much gratitude we have for your interest in just hearing our story. With having shared this sentiment, my name is Andrea Ocheita. I am a full time stay at home mother, homeschooler, and part-time employed caregiver with Instant Care of Arizona. If you know us personally, then you know that my husband and I have been together since high school. We have been attached to the hip for the last 18 years, going through life's ups and downs together, no matter what. If you don't know us personally, well, that is where our story always begins. We have been through so many adventures together, and, of course, parenting has been the greatest adventure we have had thus far. When our first born, Julián, came into this world, he brought the utmost joy into our lives. Five years later, here we are again, ready to receive another little bundle of joy into our world. For the past 4 months, I have been receiving prenatal care from my previous provider who helped me at the end of my journey in my pregnancy with my son, and also with our somewhat recent miscarriage at the end of October 2024. Although the care from her has been great and from everybody in her office and the rest of the staff, unfortunately my provider has said that she is no longer able to move forward with my care, due to differences in views, opinion, and practice (also I believe due to hospital policies and contracts). With only 3 months left of my pregnancy, and being in my third trimester officially, I am left with trying to find care last minute to upkeep the health of myself and our beautiful rainbow baby. In searching for providers that are more experienced and comfortable with the care and birth experience that I am looking for, I have found a center that provides exactly what I am asking for in regards to care. Blossom Birth and Wellness Center is a center that provides a "Integrative and holistic approach to natural birth and women's wellness". In researching thoroughly about the center and receiving consultation recently, we have made it our decision to proceed with continuing prenatal care here at this specific center. In finding solace in being able to continue care as soon as my last appointment with my (now) ex-provider, we are now looking for help to manage out of pocket costs that come with switching to a birthing center from a standard O.B.G.Y.N. practice. Although they do take our current insurance, there are still costs that come with this standard of care that are not covered by insurance, and yet the amount being paid upfront is cheaper than the amount we would owe at a hospital. With this switch of providers being so late in my pregnancy and prenatal care, we have not been able to set aside funds. This is the main reason we are looking for community help and support at this time. Any and all contributions would be GREATLY appreciated. No matter the dollar amount given or none, we are so grateful for you having read this far about our situation and cause.
