Help Andre & Lucky

Andre, a familiar face to many in Cecil County, is a kind-hearted man who has fallen on hard times. He and his loyal dog, Lucky, are currently living in an old truck generously given to him by a friend. However, they are facing harsh weather, unsafe conditions, and increasing medical challenges.

Despite these struggles, Andre remains determined to rebuild his life and get back on his feet. A few kind-hearted community members have helped cover hotel stays for a few nights at a time, keeping them out of the cold.

Andre is alcohol- and drug-free—he’s simply down on his luck due to unforeseen medical issues such as peripheral artery disease and pinched nerve in spine and herniated disc and COPD. He still tries to look for small jobs. Through it all, his bond with Lucky remains unbreakable. She is his faithful companion and comes first to him, and he loves her dearly.

Now, he urgently needs our help to secure a safe place to stay while he works toward permanent housing.
