<div>Our beloved local musician, <strong>Andre Feriante</strong>, has given so much to his friends in music and collaborations and has recently had a heart attack. Good news first, he is recovering and performing again. <strong>His time in recovery has cost him dearly, financially.</strong>

<div>We are reaching out to music lovers around the NW to lend a hand. Andre had a heart attack on March 31st and is currently recovering at home and sparingly and carefully gigging to the best of his ability. In the weeks leading up to this event, Andre was having shortness of breath just carrying his guitar and equipment and eventually had to stop playing his shows.

<div>Andre has been a 100% full-time performer for over 40 years, playing three to five shows a week. He is a single-income family and needs help to not get behind with his rent and bills.

<div>Since 1980, Andre has played theaters, festivals, clubs, and private gigs around the NW and beyond. Originally from Italy, Andre began studying the guitar in Rome when he was 13. He had the rare privilege of studying with the great Maestro Andres Segovia in a Madrid master class in 1983. For years, Andre has invited top Northwest musicians to join him in concert at The Triple Door or Benaroya Hall in Seattle. He also started the Whidbey Island Guitar Festival, where he invites some of the most talented guitarists in the area to perform.
