Support to Honor the Family of John Hoffman
Donation protected
On Saturday, May 1, 2021, John Hoffman was killed in his apartment in Prairie Village, Kansas.
They believe John was helping a friend with a mental health crisis, and this is being treated as a homicide by the Prarie Village Police Department. Little details are known at this time.
The family is staying at an Airbnb in the Kansas City area while working with the police/detectives to find who did this.
There are no words to describe the devastation that is felt by all. John was an amazing father, and Poppa to Andy, Brian, Samantha, Joe, Ava, Parker, and Layla. He was loved by countless individuals, friends, and family. Your prayers, love, and support are needed at this time.
It is truly appreciated by the family to everyone that has been reaching out and asking for ways to help. Funds will go directly to the Hoffman and Hall family to help with funeral costs, accommodations, and support for the family while they are in Kansas City, and a memorial for John.
Funeral and visitation details:
The visitation will be Friday, May 7 at 6 PM and the funeral will be Saturday, May 8 at 10 AM, both at Cure of Ars in Leawood, KS.
Obituary and memorial details
A memorial has also been set up in John's name with the Foundation Fighting Blindness. You can donate directly to the memorial there if you'd like.
