Hi, my name is Brooke. I’m a full time college student with a part time job and unfortunately between balancing the fees of school and other bills I was not left with much to go towards Anakin’s health emergency.

UPDATE: 9/15: unfortunately Anakins surgery isn’t looking successful..he most likely will have to go back for operation and be hospitalized. I updated the gofundme to match that.

Anakin is my cat, only one year old. He was originally diagnosed with a UTI, nothing to be too worried about. Give him meds, keep him hydrated, the usual post-appointment stuff. He started to get better before his health dropped quickly. Ani was constantly squatting, only ever getting a few drops of urine out. Late last night he threw up and wouldn’t relax even when lying down. We thought it was just anxiety as there was company over watching sports, but we now know it was due to pain. Late last night into this morning his breathing had become labored and he was found lying still, no energy to swat anyone away even when he tried. I had to rush him to the only vet open where he will be undergoing surgery. If blockages go untreated they will continue to rapidly decline a cats health, turning fatal in as little as 24 hours. I already gave the vets roughly 800 already but unfortunately it will not be enough. The money raised will go towards all of his medical bills and medicine. Anything helps, thank you and god bless.
