In October 2024, our dear friend, <strong>Ana Karen Perez</strong>, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma Liver Cancer. As a friend, loved one, or acquaintance of someone diagnosed with cancer, often it’s hard to know what to say or do. Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma Liver cancer can show symptoms, but they are often vague and may not appear until the cancer is advanced. It's not curable, but treatment may improve overall survival and quality of life. As we received the devastating news, her family and friends were completely heartbroken. Ana Karen is an extraordinarily hard-working mother of 2 older sons and a provider for her lovely 6-year-old daughter, and all she wants and wishes is to have more precious time with her children, especially her baby girl. To see her suffer has been excruciating.

<div>Recently, she has been faced with a condition that requires her not to be able to work any longer, and medical treatment beyond her financial capabilities. Her symptoms have gotten worse; she is experiencing abdominal pain, swelling, fatigue, loss of appetite, and weight loss. Every day she has to find the physical and emotional strength to cope with this diagnosis. Her life has drastically changed unexpectedly, and there is nothing else we wish for than for her to have financial relief, especially for her daughter, but we need your help.

<div>Le escribimos hoy con la esperanza de comunicarnos con ustedes y pedirle amablemente su apoyo. En Octubre del 2024, a nuestra querida amiga, <strong>Ana Karen Perez</strong>, le diagnosticaron cáncer de hígado por adenocarcinoma en etapa 4. Como amigo, ser querido o conocido de alguien a quien se le ha diagnosticado cáncer, a menudo es difícil saber qué decir o hacer. Adenocarcinoma en etapa 4 es un cáncer de hígado que no mostra síntomas, y a menudo son vagos y es posible que no aparezcan hasta que el cáncer esté avanzado. No es curable, pero el tratamiento puede mejorar la supervivencia general y la calidad de su vida. Cuando recibimos la devastadora noticia, su familia y amigos quedaron completamente desconsolados. Ana Karen es una madre extraordinariamente trabajadora de 2 hijos adultos y proveedora de su encantadora hija de 6 años, y todo lo que quiere y desea es tener más tiempo precioso con sus hijos, especialmente con su bebé. Verla sufrir ha sido insoportable.

<div>Recientemente, se ha enfrentado a una enfermedad que le impide seguir trabajando y a un tratamiento médico que va más allá de sus capacidades financieras. Sus síntomas han empeorado; experimenta dolor abdominal, hinchazón, fatiga, pérdida de apetito y pérdida de peso. Cada día tiene que encontrar la fuerza física y emocional para afrontar este diagnóstico. Su vida ha cambiado drásticamente de forma inesperada y no hay nada más que deseemos que ella tenga alivio financiero, especialmente para su hija, pero necesitamos su ayuda.
