Amy has been a steadfast presence throughout the hospital for over 20 years, and for the past several years, she has worked in the emergency department. She is known for her dedication, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need, always putting patients and coworkers before herself. Now, Amy is facing a difficult chapter in her life.

 Recently, Amy developed personal medical issues that have forced her to miss work. She will need surgery and is expected to be out for an extended period to recover, but she has exhausted her paid time off. To make matters even more challenging, her husband is also preparing for a major cancer surgery. With both Amy and her husband unable to work and mounting medical bills, their financial situation has become overwhelming.
