I've decided to start a fundraiser for my sister, Amy, who's in the middle of her second battle with cervical cancer.
Amy had her first round with chemo back in 2020 during the pandemic. She got through it like a champ and spent almost 5 years cancer free - then in June this year got confirmation that her cancer was back and had spread to her lymph nodes.
The chemotherapy drugs used this time around are much more aggressive and much more debilitating. Her employer has been very supportive and allowed her to work from home when needed, but lately she's been so sick that she's been unable to work for a week at a time or more, even from home. It's likely to get worse as she continues treatment and she's starting to panic how she's going to pay for things.
The one thing she really needs right now is to not stress about her bills while she continues this battle. It would mean the world to me if you could throw a few bucks her way so that she can worry about getting better and not worry about paying her bills.
If you'd like, you can donate directly to her:
