A carjacker, fleeing from the police, crashed into her car. The impact caused Amber’s car to catch fire, and it was only thanks to the quick actions of a police officer that she was pulled from the flames. Despite this heroic rescue, Amber suffered severe burns and is now beginning a long and difficult recovery.
