<div>Over the past two years, we’ve made remarkable strides in refurbishing our historic building, reviving the legendary jazz club, and establishing a lively community center.

<div>However, to fully realize our vision of supporting and empowering the Algiers community, we still have many key goals to achieve. We want to hold more classes, art installations, and concerts for our community.
</div>

<div>We want to thank everyone for the love and support they showed AMAS in 2024. With your help, we did some remarkable things for the West Bank community, on a shoestring budget!

<div>We held twenty-eight jazz concerts featuring some of New Orleans’ finest musicians;
</div>
<div>We hosted eighteen music and dance appreciation classes in conjunction with our partners at Little Stompers;
</div>
<div>We hosted Old Algiers Main Street Corporation’s Annual Meeting Event;
</div>
<div>We held one Community Environment Awareness Event;
</div>
<div>We held two Art Exhibitions;
</div>
<div>We held two Kid’s Art Classes;
</div>
<div>We held three Book Signing Events; and
</div>
<div>We held an all-day Back-to-School Celebration for the kids and parents to enjoy.

<div>We plan on doing a lot more of the same in 2025!

<div>This year we are starting off with the community-empowering Vibe Check classes in March. In April, we start our free music appreciation program with After School Music Classes, a six-week program that will culminate with a performance by all of the students.

<div>And of course, we love to showcase New Orleans’ best jazz musicians in our Wine Down Wednesday and First Friday music programs. Don’t forget to check our calendar regularly, because there is a lot in store for you in 2025!

<div>We plan on using the funds raised from this fundraiser to provide education classes to the city of Algiers and to pay musicians to provide free concerts to the community. Thank you for your support and love!
