Amanda Kicking Cancers Ass!

Amanda is one of those people who makes you want to be a better person!  Her love and constant positivity is contagious. I am honored to call her one of my best friends. She is the most selfless person I know. She is ALWAYS looking out for those around her and helping them in anyway she can!! She would NEVER ask for this help but now it is OUR turn to return the favor and help HER through this extremely tiring time!  

Amanda's Story

On January 2, 2018 Amanda was diagonosed with stage 3a Rectal Cancer at only 32 years old. (Less than 2 years after her father suddenly passed away, and less than 1 year after her mother was diagonosed with cancer). She started her first course of treatment of 5 weeks of chemo/radiation on Feburary 7th. After 4-6 weeks of healing she will undergo surgery to remove the tumor. After recovering from surgery she will undergo more chemotherapy for about 6 months. 

This treatment has ended Amanda's ability to have and carry any children, which has ALWAYS been a dream of hers. This has been one of the hardest parts emotionally for her. 

Through all of this she has remained positive and continues to amaze me and those around her with all of her strength.
