<div>My name is Alyssa and in one week from today I am moving across the country to continue my education at Boston University! There, I will begin an MFA in Lighting Design where I will find my artistic voice and learn through collaboration and mentorship. It has been my dream to dazzle audiences on Broadway since I was a kid. This move will bring me one step closer!

<div>As you know, moving long distance is financially straining with expenses such as plane tickets, housing deposits/rent, furniture, groceries, textbooks etc. I'm unsure how long I can support myself financially while searching for jobs and transitioning to a new city.

<div>My tuition is fully paid for (yay!). However, I still have additional moving and living expenses for the first couple of months that I need assistance with.
</div>
