<div>Hey everyone! Many of you know that <strong>Alma Almeida is a devoted mom and grandma who is a hard worker and so selfless</strong>. You might also know she is an animal person who cares for any animal that needs her. Alma has been battling cancer for 7 years and her positive outlook and drive to never give up has brought her to be successful in her battle so far. She has worked full time all while going through chemo round after round each time the cancer returns. She never misses a beat or allows the cancer to limit her, continuing to make the most out of her life. She had also never asked anyone for help EVER, and typically we have to force her to accept any help that is offered.

<div>However, two weeks ago we were told the scariest news she has received throughout this journey and that is that her cancer has returned and it’s in her brain. Literally the only course of treatment is whole brain radiation which she started immediately. Despite her desire to just continue working as usual she cannot. Her family is doing what they can but <strong>the financial stress is overwhelming her</strong>. Best case scenario, she can return to working in a month or two, but worse case is potentially not at all. The cancer is affecting her vision, and balance.

<div>I know that there are so many people out there struggling and fighting for their lives, and she would not want to burden anyone by asking for the help she needs and deserves but I figured it can’t hurt to see if there are people out there who might have the means and desire to help this amazing woman who is a real life superhero to her family and to anyone who knows her.
