Alisha has been a constant source of support and care in my life. When my baby was born and spent time in the NICU at UAB, Alisha was the respiratory therapist who not only cared for my child but also looked after me during those difficult days. Since then, she has continued to be there for me, offering advice and comfort during times of sickness and worry. Her kindness, expertise, and friendship have made her a lifelong friend and someone I deeply admire.

 Recently, Alisha and her husband had saved up to take their two young boys on a magical Christmas trip to Disney. It was meant to be a special holiday, filled with memories and joy. But just a day before they were set to leave, her husband—who seemed perfectly healthy—suffered a sudden heart attack. Now, instead of celebrating, the family is facing hospital stays, uncertainty, and the heartbreak of canceling their trip. The boys have lost their Christmas gifts, and Alisha and her husband are now burdened with unexpected medical bills and lost wages.
