We suffered a lot and were exposed to all kinds of psychological torture, including hunger, thirst, and the loss of family and friends. How difficult it is to wait for someone you know to be pulled out from under the rubble, alive or dead, after his house was bombed, or for a member of your family to go to get daily food and wait for him to return.
