My name is Alex. I'm definitely having an extremely hard time since my car accident. 
 
Back on July 2nd, 2024, I was struck by a woman going 70 who ran a red light and hit me while I was turning into a street. She had a 2024 but somehow no insurance. My insurance, which I was paying full coverage on because I had monthly payments, ultimately broke the law and took uninsured motorist coverage off without me knowing and without my signature. 
 
I spent 9 days in the hospital fighting for my life, had lung surgery, and a tube coming out of my back. I currently have staples still in my lung, and spine damage in 3 different places, and have been unable to work. Unfortunately, my car insurance and gap coverage screwed me over, and I still somehow owe 3 grand on my car I no longer have because the woman totaled it. It's been affecting me for the past year. 
 
I've also been stuck at home, unable to leave for the past year. I've been unable to get disability even though I'm disabled because they claim I didn't make enough. I am still trying to sue the lady and my insurance, but I am already on my 3rd lawyer and I'm losing faith and hope. 
 
My whole life is altered and none of this makes any sense to me, but I am asking for whatever help I can get. I really need help. I have walking issues now, shattered teeth, dealt with a concussion, and severe memory issues for months. Any little bit helps and I appreciate your kindness if you were to donate.
