<div>Hello, my name is Alexandrea Hogan.  I have been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer stage 3.  I am going through chemo, every 2 weeks, and had to quit working due to this. I never thought it would happen to me, but I pray you all get your check-ups! I knew I wasn't the healthiest person, but out of the blue, I couldn't breathe. I was blessed that my aunt was around, so she called the ambulance twice. Crazy thing is they didn't come, I almost fell to the ground, and my aunt saw my eyes roll to the back of my head, but GOD was with me! I started calming down a little and caught my breath again, and she was able to take me to the hospital. I thought it was congestion and indigestion mixed together. I didn't know until they rushed me to the ICU after my X-ray. I was put on an ECMO machine and had to get a port put in 2 times because the first one didn't work. I was in the hospital for about 3weeks. Then about 2 months ago, I was diagnosed with 2 blood clots in my lungs and have to be on oxygen and other meds. During all of this, I have applied for assistance since I can't work and was denied. I am reapplying and have lots of advocates helping, but it can take months to be approved. I know times are hard on everyone, but every little penny helps. I am grateful and blessed to wake up every day! I even became a grandmother last month and had a scare with the delivery of her.
