<div>Emily has only been gone a few days, and the void she left in her place is already massive. And its going to grow and grow and grow. Im struggling to accept another moment without her and thinking about her absence for the rest of our lives is causing a tightening in my throat, a pounding in my chest, and an ache in my whole being that feels inconsolable. And thats just the way it feels. But the impact of losing Emily is physical, mental, and financial. Alex and Penelope have a mountain to climb, and one way we can help make that mountain surmountable is to give them some financial stability to do it. This fund is for Alex to get by until he can get by. Pay the bills, buy groceries, and whatever else he and Penelope need in the coming months so that their main focus can be on grieving and grappling with a life that is now missing the most important person in it, their mommy and wife. I have created a second fund dedicated to Penelope, which will be used to open an account that she will access as an adult. We love all of you, and we thank you.
