Alaska is everything to me. I got her as a puppy from the Humane Society. I was the last in line of 8 families who wanted to adopt her, but after 4 hours and 7 no's, we finally met, and the first thing I said was, "Where do I sign?" I didn't need to think about it; she found her human, and I found my heart dog and new best friend for the next decade.

She's currently hospitalized, and I have spent the little savings I had on the deposit but now am faced with the remainder. A penny helps. Some kind words help. Any positivity you can send helps.
