<div>Our friend and neighbor Alan was brutally attacked last week in the gazebo at Welles Park and needs our help. He was struck with a baseball bat repeatedly in the face and on his body and has just been discharged (Monday 11/3) after a week in the hospital (since Monday 10/27).
</div>

</div>
<div>Alan is a kind, intelligent, and caring soul. Raised in Evanston, served in the Army, he's worked as a DJ, chef, and musician all over this city. Recently has fallen on some hard luck and has been unhoused. This summer he slept many a nights in Welles Park gazebo.
</div>

</div>
<div>He's known for his kindness by most of the Welles Park community where he spent the summer. I, Megan Eberhardt, lead singing all summer in the Welles Park Gazebo and quickly fell into friendship with Alan. Many of my singers have also befriended him.
</div>

</div>
<div>Let us rally around our community member who needs help getting back on his feet and into some warm housing this winter!!
