<div>I am Alaa, a mother of two children, Ahmed, who is 6 years old, and Talia, who is a year and a half old.

<div>Ahmed, my son, has been robbed twice of the most precious things in his life. The first time, when he lost his father at the age of two months, and today, at the age of 6, Ahmed loses what remains of his life. He loses his room, his home, his education, his toys, his bed, and the life we had planned for him. Ahmed has no memories left, no toys, not even his beautiful clothes; all burned in the house along with his pictures with his father and all his memories.

<div>Talia grew up in the war and started walking. She didn't have a safe and clean space to crawl, stand, and take her first steps. Due to the place we live in, she has suffered from several bouts of diarrhea. At this age, she needs proper nutrition and milk. She is classified as underweight for her age.

<div>After our home was destroyed and we were displaced due to the war, we now live in an old poultry shop, filled with insects and cockroaches. We spend our time in darkness as it lacks windows or ventilation.

<div>I hope with your help to rebuild my children's lives, to be able to leave Gaza, and for my children to live in peace and tranquility. We need to escape the horrors of war, to not be robbed more and more. Every day here in Gaza, we lose a part of our lives. Help us to leave Gaza and cover the travel expenses. Time is running out, and I hope you do not ignore our plea for help.
