<div>Al has always been the person others turn to in times of need. As my coworker and close friend, I’ve seen firsthand how much he gives of himself, never asking for anything in return. Tonight, Al’s world changed forever when his beloved wife passed away after a long illness. For months, he’s been working part time so he could care for her around the clock, and he’s also been looking after her elderly mother, who is very ill herself.

<div> On top of this heartbreak, Al’s own health has suffered. He’s over 50 and has faced his own medical challenges, which sometimes keep him from working. Their home is in urgent need of repairs, especially a new roof, but Al’s focus has always been on caring for his family first. The financial strain has become overwhelming, and the stress and anxiety have taken a real toll on him.

<div> Now, Al needs the support he’s so often given to others. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses, make critical repairs to his home, and provide for daily living costs while he finds his footing again. Al is not used to asking for help, but I know he would be deeply grateful for any kindness you can offer. Your support will give him a much-needed break from the burdens he’s been carrying and remind him that he’s not alone.
