<div>My name is A’Janae Williams and I will be graduating with my JD from UIC Law this December! As a Black woman who is a first generation law student, it has always my dream to enter the legal field and spark changes.

<div>As I begin to wrap up my law school journey, my entire focus is on passing the Bar Exam the first time, as this is how I will obtain my license to practice law. Passing the Bar requires both hard work and a substantial financial investment. Some of the fees for the Bar include:

<li>Bar Exam Registration Fee: $950 

</li>

<li>Laptop Registration Fee to use during Exam: $135

</li>

<li>Bar Prep Course: $2000

</li>

<div>In total, this amount is about $3,100. The Bar is not just an exam - it is the final step in achieving this goal I’ve had since I was a little girl.
