Three weeks ago, my partner Siam had a serious paragliding accident that left him with three broken vertebrae (L1, L2, L3). Thanks to a successful surgery with screws and plates, doctors are confident that he will walk and return to sports again: But it will take time, patience, and a long recovery including rehab.

As a self-employed surf and kite coach, Siam depends entirely on his physical fitness to work. Unfortunately, he will be unable to teach or earn any income for at least the next six months, while he needs to pay for his rehabilitation and his regular expenses continue: Rent, bills, insurance, loan payments and financial support for his young daughter.
