On December 14, 2025, our lives changed in an instant when the butcher shop we owned and operated burned to the ground, along with the rest of the barn that housed our business. The shop was not just our livelihood, but a place where we built relationships and served our community every day. The loss has been devastating, both emotionally and financially, as we try to come to terms with what has happened and what comes next.

 Right now, we are focused on supporting our families and beginning the long process of cleaning up after the fire. Rebuilding is uncertain at this time, but we know that every bit of help will make a difference as we navigate these difficult days. The outpouring of support from friends, neighbors, and even strangers has been overwhelming, and we are deeply grateful for every message, call, and offer of assistance.

 There truly are no words to describe the feeling of an entire community coming forward all at once with a desire to help. We are amazed and humbled by your generosity.
