<div>Adaline Jane was born Wednesday, May 21st at 12:34am weighing 7lbs and 20in long. They pretty quickly realized that she was having some trouble breathing. They took her to the nursery to try and help her with less invasive treatments but ultimately she ended up having to be intubated. She was transferred to UK’s NICU via ambulance on Wednesday around 4:30pm. She was diagnosed with persistent pulmonary hypertension in newborns(PPHN) and her lungs were not producing surfactant. She’s got a long road ahead of her. Cheyenne and Douglas also have two babies at home Koe (3) &amp; Georgia (2). So as you could imagine they’re trying their best to balance time at home with these two and at the NICU with Adaline. Cheyenne is off on maternity leave but it’s unpaid unfortunately. Douglas is also off work with FMLA unpaid. They have a lot of expenses to cover with food, gas, babysitter and of course medical bills to come with Adaline. They have had several people reach out and offer to help in some way and while prayers are the number one request some financial relief would also be helpful. No pressure at all to donate but if you want to it would help!
