Officer Marcus McCarson tragically passed away on September 17, 2026, in a two-vehicle collision while off-duty riding his motorcycle. He was only 21 years old, a devoted husband to Abby, and a brand-new father to their baby, Azzi, who is just two months old. Marcus had only recently begun his law enforcement career with the Franklin Police Department after serving in the United States Marine Corps, and he was deeply loved by so many. As Marcus's riding buddy, I feel compelled to do something to help make sure his family is okay. 
 
 
 Right now, Abby is facing the unimaginable loss of her husband while caring for their newborn daughter. In the middle of that grief, she is also trying to face life without Marcus's income and the reality of a house that is still unfinished. This loss has changed everything for Abby and Azzi in an instant, and the weight of that is hard to put into words. 
 
 
 This fundraiser is for Abby, and the funds will go directly to her to help her raise Azzi and cover the ongoing needs that come with losing an income while caring for a baby and trying to manage an unfinished home.
