Hi, I am Dr. Ashtyn Marek at Foster Creek Veterinary Hospital.

This kiddo came to me 2 years ago from Rosenberg Animal Shelter and Animal Control after getting hit by a car and falling off a tall freeway ramp. He had a pneumothorax (air in chest) and other injuries that healed. After about 3 months in the hospital with me, he finally went to a forever home with a generous family.

Fast forward 2 years and he’s back in my care…this time for 3 weeks. He has undergone 3 abdominal surgeries and has survived through it despite the odds against him. He now REALLY needs an MRI due to severe debilitating spinal pain. We are trying our best to fully heal him since he is so sweet and has a long life ahead of him since he’s only 2 years old.

We have spent over $10,000 and have reached our max budget. BUT, I feel he can be fully healed if we get the final diagnosis through MRI; he’s almost there with light at the end of the tunnel! I am trying to raise funds to get a diagnosis to treat this kiddo who deserves it and to help the generous family who’s doing everything they can for him! Any amount will help if you are able to. Without it, we will likely not be able to get the MRI and CSF tap (+/- other diagnostics/care) and possibly miss his cure.
