I won't be getting The Surgery, at least not anytime soon, but this year, for my birthday, I'm raising funds to get a tattoo of the Side Wound of Christ, an icon used by medeival mystics to represent the feminine energy of Our Lord. Consider it my spiritual bottom surgery.
