Support a small Ukrainian pastry shop in Kyiv

Keep the Cheesecake Family Business running!

 

The Cheesecake Family is a small pastry shop located in central Kyiv selling pies, salads, muffins, sweet snacks – and of course cheesecakes!

 

During the war, the majority of team members stayed in Kyiv to support their country by cooking for Ukrainian soldiers and the families that remained in the capital. The pastry shop used all their ingredients to bake as much as they could before having to shut down the business and donating everything to the Ukrainian community.

 

With no end in sight for this war, the team just re-opened the pastry shop as their livelihood depends on it. They need financial support in order to bring back some team members and to keep the operations running.

 

As we can not help out in any physical way, we are trying to support them as much as possible from afar. Please spread the word and support this amazing team in helping their community and these talented people by continuing their efforts to keep their local pastry shop alive!

I am posting this Fundraising Page on behalf of Matters2, a small business consultancy that had originally worked with the Cheesecake Family team when they opened their pastry shop in October 2021. We can not do much from the UK but we hope to be able to support them via this GoFundMe Page.
As the Cheesecake Family does not have a registered UK bank account, all raised funds will be transferred to their Ukrainian account via PayPal at the completion of this campaign.
