Send a Scout to World Jamboree 2019

The 24th World Scout Jamboree will take place at the Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve in West Virginia from July 21, 2019, to August 2, 2019, and Jonah has the opportunity to participate! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him, and we are honored that he can be a part of it. About 50,000 Scouts from over 150 countries will be gathering to promote peace and understanding of different cultures. The youth will camp during their time there, and will have the opportunity to participate in high adventure activities, service projects, leadership development, and more.

Jonah is 15 and a committed Boy Scout, about to embark on his Eagle project. He excels in school and is committed to community service. This money is needed to pay all expenses for the trip, including travel, food, clothing, gear, and all other Jamboree-related costs. Without some financial support, Jonah's participation may be impossible. He has used up his earnings in the registration process, and our household income is fixed and limited.

We have a payment of $850 due on March 15, 2018, just over two weeks away and as of this writing, we have no funds available for that. Any support could make the difference in whether Jonah can participate or not.

I know that Jonah and I are already grateful for the prayers and positive energy supporting him, and we hope you will offer those along with some financial help. He will return home with many experience to share with the troop and within the community. Please help his dream come true.
