Hello! I have never made a GoFundMe before, but I think the current situation calls for it. Yesterday afternoon (6/17/25), some awesome guys at work rescued a kitten from under the hood of another co-worker's car. The kitten ended up in our Production Manager's office with no one knowing what to do with her. I offered to take her with the intentions of rehoming her. I cannot keep her long term because two of my kids have allergies. She does have an eye infection and what seems like ear mites, so I am wanting to get her immediate treatment for those things because I do not know how long it will take to rehome her. Since being spayed is not urgent, I am not planning on getting her spayed unless the GoFundMe reaches an amount that would allow that. I am taking her to Vale park Animal Clinic in Valparaiso for exam and treatment. Again, this is not my personal cat that I am asking for people to pay for her care. I am fostering her. I have reached out to Abra to see if they can take her on as well. They are always up to their necks in rescues, doing the most good, so any extra funds here that exceed vet care will be donated directly to them if they do take her on. If they are able to, the funds will go toward feeding her.
