On April 5th, I was laid off from my 9–5 job. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat, but things have become overwhelming. Right now, I can no longer afford my rent. To make matters worse, the oil pan on my Kia Optima cracked, which caused all the oil to leak and the engine to go out completely. With no reliable transportation and no steady income, my options are very limited.
I’ve been applying for jobs nonstop—submitting applications and going on interviews—but so far, nothing has worked out. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to take a new path for my future: enrolling in truck driving school to earn my CDL. This career shift will give me stability and allow me to provide for myself long-term.
In order to move forward, I need immediate help. I’m trying to raise at least $5,000, which will cover:
• Back rent so I can leave in good standing
• Terminating my lease
• Renting a storage unit for my belongings until I get back on my feet
• Transitioning into CDL school so I can start fresh
This is not easy for me to ask, but I believe this step will change my life for the better. If you are able to help, no matter how small, it will bring me closer to getting stable again and building a new future.
Thank you for reading my story and for any support—whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign.
