Hi, my name is Sharon, and I’m raising funds on behalf of our lovely staff member, Hannah, who lost her home in the devastating Koolewong fires on Saturday.

Hannah, her two teenage daughters, and their pets were evacuated with only moments to spare. They are now staying with Hannah’s parents, still in shock and trying to process the enormity of what has happened.

Today, Hannah returned to the property to salvage whatever she could. While the bedrooms were thankfully spared, the kitchen and lounge room were completely destroyed. Most of their belongings, essentials, and daily comforts are gone. As a single mum, Hannah is now faced with the overwhelming task of relocating and rebuilding her family’s life from scratch.

Hannah is an educator at SAACS in Woy Woy, and anyone who knows her will tell you how devoted she is to the children she works with. She arrives early every day to tidy, set up, and thoughtfully create a fun, engaging environment for the kids. She gives so much of herself to others—now it’s our turn to support her.

All funds raised will go directly towards helping Hannah with :

• Essential items such as food, pantry supplies, and school essentials

• Replacing household items lost in the fire

• Supporting the long process of relocating and rebuilding their home and lives
