Hi everyone! I just want to keep things straightforward. I'm looking to do a maternity test because I've been struggling with rent and can’t cover it at the moment, and this would really help me confirm that my amazing 9-year-old, who I adore, is truly my child. We share a resemblance, but I know there are kids who can look completely different from their parents. For instance, I sometimes get told I resemble Jennifer Hudson in certain pictures, but we’re not related at all. My son is my one and only, and I just want to make sure he’s mine. It’s hard to think about having a child out there without knowing for sure. I wouldn’t trade my son for anything in the world!

I find the cheaper tests appealing, but I lean towards legal DNA testing just to be safe. I'm 95% confident that this is my biological child, but in this unpredictable world, it's wise to have that extra assurance for a single-parent household.
