<div>I created this gofundme for a friend who desperately needs psychotherapy, but is currently unable to afford it. For privacy reasons, this friend will remain unnamed.

<div>This friend is struggling with severe depression, including past thoughts of suicide. He has undergone some pretty serious trauma and grief and does not have a strong support network to lean on. Due to a low-paying job and no insurance, he has been unable to access the help that he needs.

<div>Fortunately, I have connected him with a psychologist and he is already experiencing a ton of improvement. However, he still has a long way to go, and both he and I are unable to financially sustain consistent appointments.

<div>Each appointment costs $125 and will ideally be scheduled once a week. My goal is to have at least 3 months of consistent treatment covered. If you would like any additional information before donating or copies of the treatment receipts as confirmation, please don’t hesitate to ask!
