Support a Friend's Homestead Rebuild Post-Hurricane

Hurricaine Heline hit a lot of people hard, and one of our friends was was no exception to this. He's been building his homestead for several years now, putting his heart and soul into it, and when the storm came though, toppling trees, his home was not spared.

He had several trees fall on structures on his property, destroying buildings and appliances, and leaving him without a roof over his head and no power until he can start to rebuild.

Immediate concerns include paying for food for his cats and dog, getting a roof back over his head, and replacing the appliances that didn't survive the falling trees.

We're hoping that with this crowdfunder, we can generate $1500, which will hopefully be enough for him to rebuild.

His assessment of damages and needs:

Supplies for the bedroom - $600 - $800

Shingles - $100

Replacing crushed appliances - $250 (Fridge, toaster oven, microwave).

Screws - $50 - $100

Replace lost food and pet food, setting up solar, and covering bills - $200 - $250
