<div>A few days ago, my parents’ home in the Philippines was severely affected by a flood. The water came in so quickly that they lost many of their belongings, including clothes, household essentials, and even food. Now, they’re trying to recover, but with limited resources, it’s been incredibly difficult for them to get back on their feet.

<div>What makes this even harder is that my 5 year old son, who lives with them while I work here in the United States, is also affected. As a single parent doing everything I can to support my family from afar, it’s heartbreaking knowing they are going through this without the basics they need.
