<div>In the 27th of October 2023, I had no contact with my family for complete days reading only a single terrifying line written in the news (an apartment belonging to the ***** family airstriked reporting several casualties and injuries). Allowed to know after 3 days that most of them were injured - some of them with really serious injuries - and that we lost a mom with both her son and daughter of our relatives that opened their home to us like it is our’s. I had no chance but to do everything I can to get them to safety. I LEFT NO WAY THERE to help them get to safety but I was always faced with disappointment and helplessness.

<div>The 27th of October was not the only day I almost lost all my family. I sleep every night not knowing if my family is alive, starved or sick. They had to leave our home under heavy bombing being thrown around and above their heads at the whole Talelhawa neighborhood in the Gaza strip (my brother tells me that not a single night passes without waking up terrified seeing and reliving this memory over and over again).

<div>After exhausting every possible way we were able to get only my sister and her 6 month old baby out of Gaza to save their lives after being seriously injured due to the 27th of october airstrike and luckily my sister still has her legs with the hope of walking again and being able to provide care for her two daughters and patients as she is not only a mom but also a doctor.

<div>I am doing this fundraiser to get my family to safety and the still injured members to receive the medical care essential to them. my sister's husband had to leave the hospital he was staying at after threats of its destruction and her other 2 year old daughter is still staying with her aunt in the Gaza strip living in a tent.

<div>لم يكن 27 أكتوبر هو اليوم الوحيد الذي كنت فيه على وشك أن أفقد كل أفراد عائلتي. أنام كل ليلة دون معرفة ما إذا كانت عائلتي على قيد الحياة، أما أنهم يعانون الجوع أو المرض. كان عليهم مغادرة منزلنا تحت قصف مكثف يتم إلقاؤه حولهم وفوق رؤوسهم في حي تل الهوى بقطاع غزة (يقول لي أخي أنه لا يمر ليلة واحدة دون أن يستيقظ مذعورًا رؤية وإعادة تجربة هذه الذكرى مرارًا وتكرارًا). بعد استنفاد كل طريق ممكن، تمكنا فقط من إخراج أختي وطفلها البالغ من العمر 6 أشهر من غزة لإنقاذ حياتهم بعد أن أصيبوا بجروح خطيرة بسبب القصف الجوي في 27 أكتوبر، ولحسن الحظ لا تزال أختي لديها ساقيها بأمل أن تستطيع المشي مرة أخرى وتقديم الرعاية لابنتيها والمرضى حيث أنها ليست فقط أمًا ولكنها أيضًا طبيبة.
