#Update: I have been able to locate an affordable 2 bedroom apartment for the children and I, we could move in this weekend. I am able to cover first month’s rent but need to come up with deposit and there are a few items for the home we would need (those could wait). 

I am a newly divorced single

mother of three facing the difficult situation on needing to move to a more affordable home asap. Must move my Dec 12. This came without warning. I have no savings. Wasn’t sure how I would do Christmas for them but some wonderful friends have stepped in to help with that. I am beyond grateful for the love and support we have received but the immediate need is to provide my children with stable, affordable housing as soon as possible. I have reached out to local realtors to help find available rentals. I have contacted housing services but was previously told they could not help without an eviction. I am swallowing my pride and praying for a miracle. My children have been through so much, they at least deserve stability and I am doing all I can to provide them with that.
