Hello friends!

I’ve been inspired to create another altar for Día de los Muertos this year! It’s dedicated to all of the matriarchs in our lives! I’m submitting my piece to be considered for a juried exhibit at a local gallery and the deadline for entry is July 21st. I’m creating an altar on a small child’s chair that I was given. I’ve painted it and have started adding all my little ingredients! I’ll also be making paper flowers, handmade tin butterflies, and a non-sugar sugar skull. I have quite a bit of materials to work with, but it’s not enough. Simultaneously, I am making jewelry and running my Etsy shop. I also need to buy supplies to build up my inventory!

This is a great opportunity to support creativity as a means of healing through the arts! I will happily add a handmade flower to the altar for your loved one with their initials with every donation.
