This is very weird and I never thought I’d never need to do this. I was involved in a DV case and my ex got away with it and on top of them dismissing my case , they’re making me pay his lawyer fees.. I am a single mom at the beginning of the start of school time for my child and they’re only giving me 30 days to come up with payment for his lawyer over $2,000 or I’ll be penalized. This is the reason women are TERRIFIED to come forward. Things always get turned back on us. I wanted to be done with this situation and now I’m having to pay for it on top of everything else. If anyone could help me , I would be grateful beyond measure. I’m tired of going through this. I don’t deserve this. My daughter doesn’t deserve this. We just want to move forward.
