Everyone in the vicinity duck for cover, soon after Royder felt something in his lower back which he initially thought to be a rock, it turned out to be a bullet that had bounced on the concrete and subsequently hit him. He quickly fell down and asked his mom to help him walk. His mother understood something was wrong, she turned him over to check for any wound and she found the bullet had priced his lower back. She started screaming for help, when a tall bystander called 911. Emergency first responders arrived at the scene within minuted and quickly rushed him into the Hospital.
