Have you been wanting to help victims of Hurricane Maria? Then please take the time to read this story of a family that needs your help. My dear friend Jose Felix has family in Puerto Rico who need your help. We all know how horrible the lack of relief efforts have been in assisting this US territory! Its awful, which is why I am personally asking you to help my dear friend's family. In his own words I am sharing with you Jose's story about who you would be helping:
Here is a little information about my family that is relocating to Miami. 6 family members will be moving in with my mom (3 kids and 3 adults). It will be a tight fit but they make it work until they get on their feet and can establish a new life in Miami.
The first picture is my sister in law Damaris, she works in public education and has of now no work until who knows. Her kids, my nephews have been traumatized by the events and need a sense of normalcy in the states. My step brother her husband is being stubborn and wants to stay and rebuild, but also wants to keep his family safe so they are leaving.
The next picture with the baby is my other step brother Wilmer. He and his wife and baby are also leaving. It's chaos in Moca, PR that's the city they live in. FEMA hasn't arrived to them after 10 days. He waited 14 hours last night for $10 of gas. They are drinking creek water and boiling it with a mixture of bleach to in an effort to kill any bacteria. When you prepare for a hurricane you usually have 7 days of food for your family. It's been 10 and nothing is operational. It breaks my heart to have members of my family suffering, especially innocent kids.
The 3rd picture is again Wilmer and his family. The 4th is my step brother that will stay behind his name is Johnnel, his priority is to keep his family safe. His kids are his life but knows that they must leave to be safe.
