Support 55 Years of HCNS Community Preschool

Healdsburg Community Nursery School (HCNS) has been a part of our town's community for over 55 years, making it one of the oldest preschools in Healdsburg. HCNS has a remarkable history as a Cooperative school. Over the years, we have revised our program to fit the needs of all families, but our open-door policy to parents in the classroom has never changed.

HCNS is a nonprofit organization. This means we don't receive public funding for our school and rely solely on tuition, fundraising, and donations to run it. Fundraising and donations play a significant role in ensuring that "Great Futures Start Here."

The school does not own the historic building where our school resides; we are responsible for its maintenance and upkeep. The historic building needs many improvements: Foundation work, electrical improvements, new windows, paint, resurfacing of the blacktop, and rubber flooring for the school playground.
