<div>420 Magazine began as a dream in 1993, long before cannabis was accepted, legalized, or even safely talked about in public. We were the first planned cannabis community on the internet. From the very first day, our mission was simple and unwavering. Create cannabis awareness to the world. Educate without judgment. Provide truth when the world was full of fear. Build a safe place where growers, patients, advocates, and dreamers could connect freely and openly without shame.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For thirty three years we have stayed on that mission, day after day, year after year, without fail.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We built the world’s first cannabis forum in a time when people were still getting arrested for a single plant. We gave growers a platform to learn, share, teach, and evolve. We helped patients find medicine that improved their lives. We helped countless people discover growing as a career that changed their future. We helped new cultivators learn how to grow clean, safe medicine for themselves and their loved ones. We gave people a place to laugh, post photos, journal their journeys, seek help and make friends who felt like family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And for all these decades, we provided it for free.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No paywalls.
</div>
<div>No premium memberships.
</div>
<div>No donation drives.
</div>
<div>No manipulation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just pure community, pure purpose, pure heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are proud to say that 420 Magazine has helped improve the quality of life for hundreds of thousands of people, and over the course of three decades, quite literally millions all over the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And we never asked for anything in return.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We Need Help Now
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After thirty three years, the technology that keeps our ship afloat has finally begun to show its age. Our server is slowing down, falling behind modern standards, and causing us to lose the momentum we built over decades.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Page loads have slowed.
</div>
<div>Search engines are beginning to notice.
</div>
<div>Our ability to serve our community at full strength is slipping.
</div>
<div>We are still here, still fighting, still growing, but our hardware is not keeping up with us anymore.
</div>
<div>The truth is simple and unavoidable.
</div>
<div>We need a new server.
</div>
<div>Not an upgrade.
</div>
<div>Not a tune up.
</div>
<div>A complete replacement.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A new enterprise grade server costs approximately ten thousand dollars. This is not optional if we want to keep the site running at full speed, protect our archives, support the massive image and database load, and stay competitive in search rankings. Faster hardware directly improves our SEO and ensures people can find the education and support they need.
</div>
<div>This upgrade is absolutely critical for our mission.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We Are Asking Now
</div>
<div>We never ask for donations.
</div>
<div>But the world has changed, traffic loads have changed, and hardware demands have increased far beyond what our original systems were built to handle.
</div>
<div>We have always funded everything internally.
</div>
<div>We have always kept the lights on ourselves.
</div>
<div>We have always handled every cost without asking our members for a penny.
</div>
<div>But this time, we need help.
</div>
<div>Our server is reaching the end of its life.
</div>
<div>If it fails, we risk losing speed, stability, and the ability to support everyone who depends on us every day.
</div>
<div>We do everything right behind the scenes.
</div>
<div>But the core machine that powers everything is worn down.
</div>
<div>And the cost to replace it is significant.
</div>
<div>Which is why we are reaching out to you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What Your Support Makes Possible
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation helps us:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Install a brand new enterprise server built for the next decade of growth
</div>
<div>Dramatically increase site speed for every page, journal, grow diary, and photo
</div>
<div>Strengthen our SEO so we reach more patients, growers, advocates, and future leaders
</div>
<div>Keep our entire thirty three year archive safe, quick, and accessible
</div>
<div>Launch new features that the community has been waiting for
</div>
<div>Continue offering everything for free just as we always have
</div>
<div>Protect our mission and ensure we stay online no matter what happens
</div>
<div>We are ready to move forward full steam ahead, but we need the hardware first.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We Are Not Offering Physical Rewards
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We considered giving away T shirts, mugs, jars, and other merch to different donor tiers. But after careful thought, we realized it would work against us. We would need to spend thousands of dollars up front to produce the merch, cover storage, packing, shipping, and labor. That would eat up a large part of the donations and slow everything down.
</div>
<div>Instead, we want every single dollar to go directly to the new server that will keep our community alive and thriving.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You Are the Heart of 420 Magazine
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are endlessly grateful for everyone who keeps this place running.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Those who visit daily.
</div>
<div>Those who share photos and videos.
</div>
<div>Those who teach others how to grow.
</div>
<div>Those who help new members.
</div>
<div>Those who support us with kindness, positivity, and love.
</div>
<div>You are the reason we made it through three decades in a world that tried to stop cannabis at every turn.
</div>
<div>We want to keep going for another decade, and then another after that.
</div>
<div>Your support now helps us secure the future of 420 Magazine and continue our mission of creating cannabis awareness to the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please Consider Donating
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If 420 Magazine has ever helped you learn, grow, heal, make friends, find support, or discover your path in the cannabis world, we ask from the bottom of our hearts.
</div>
<div>Please help us chip away at the cost of this ten thousand dollar server so we can continue moving forward full steam ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation matters.
</div>
<div>Every share helps.
</div>
<div>Every gesture of support fuels our mission.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can protect the oldest cannabis community on the internet and keep it strong for years to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping us continue what we started back in 1993 when our mission was born.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude, with love, and with endless appreciation,
</div>
