Support 3 sons who lost father unexpectedly

Donation protected
My name is Atalie, and I am a friend of Tara Meyer; with a very heavy yet hopeful heart, I am seeking help for her and her sons after the unexpected death of her husband.

Todd Meyer, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2022 leaving his wife, Tara, to care solely for their three young sons; Grayson, 11, Logan, 9, and Decland, 7. Todd was a devoted husband and father to his family; this loss will be felt for years and years to come.

If you know Tara, you love her; she is always the first person to lend a hand to those in need. I can think of countless times that she has organized fundraising events to help others in need, and now she is the one who needs our support. She is beyond devastated by the loss of Todd, her husband of 12 years. I am asking those who know and love Tara and her boys to please help support them with a monetary donation. These donations will help keep this family in their home, pay for funeral expenses, bills, debts and general care for Tara and her sons.

Todd's obituary:

Beloved father, husband, son and friend, Todd Allen Meyer, age 41, died unexpectedly at his home in Pasadena on Sunday, May 8. He was born in Baltimore on June 2, 1980 to his parents Todd Meyer, Sr. and Beth (Marfield) Meyer.  He graduated from  Cardinal Gibbons High School in 1998.

He is survived by his younger brother, Justin.

Following high school, Todd attended college at Catonsville Community College and University of Maryland, Baltimore County to study Information Technology.

Todd began his career with the Social Security Administration at the age of 15 years old, where he worked for more than 25 years. He travelled extensively while working  for SSA to foreign countries like Afghanistan, Poland and France.

Todd met the love of his life, Tara (Molyneaux) Meyer, in Oct. 2006, the two quickly fell in love and later married in 2009. He and Tara shared a love for fitness, and appropriately, met at a local gym.

They had three sons, Grayson, age 11, Logan, age 9, and Decland, age 7. Todd was also a loving step-father to Tara's two daughters, Rylee Wilson, age 18, and Madison Wilson, age 22.

Todd was a devoted father and loved spending time with his children. He could often be found wrestling in the living room with his three sons. He was also a great cook and spent much of his time in the kitchen preparing elaborate meals for his family, especially Tara's favorite: shrimp and grits.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football, golf and ice hockey with his sons and was often seen wearing his favorite Ravens sweatshirt.

He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, in Pasadena, with a funeral service held immediately afterwards. Todd and Tara attended Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie, Pastor Jeff  Higgins will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation directly to Tara in order to help support her and the boys during this very difficult time. Personal checks should be made out to Tara Meyer and sent to 581 A St. Pasadena, MD, 21122. Online donations can be made at: https://gofund.me/22eed126
