Support Free Cataract Surgeries in India

As part of supporting an initiative for supporting "Gift of Sight" a team of Volunteers at “Give Back 2 India ” with the support of India Cultural Association (ICA) Of Vancouver is raising funds for 200 eye surgeries for underprivileged people in in Kashi or Varanasi, India. The surgeries will be organized by Friends For Cause Foundation, Canada.
100 percent of funds raised here as part of Kashi2021 project will go to Cataract Surgeries of less fortunate people in India.
About The Blindness Issue in India:
India is the home of the world’s largest number of blind people, 75% of these are cases of avoidable blindness. The prime cause of blindness is unawareness of several eye diseases and refractive errors. Early detection of which can not only prevent blindness, but can also vastly improve the performance and the quality of life of the individual (be it a student, a professional, a home maker or a retired personnel).

How Much Does It Cost To Perform A Cataract Surgery?
As per Mr. Yogesh Bhatia, the founder of Friends For Cause Foundation it costs only $50 CAD to perform a cataract surgery when arranged by them.
